Wiha 35146 - L-Key Hex Nickel Short-Arm 1/16 x 46mm. High alloy CVM steel, hardened, nickel plated. Precision machined, burr free chamfered ends. Ideal for use in clean rooms and other environments where non-oxidizing surfaces are specified or required.
CVM or Chrome-Vanadium-Molybdenum steel is a special, high strength, high performance alloy. Chromium improves wear resistance, hardness and corrosion resistance. Vanadium also improves the grain structure for a tougher tool. Molybdenum improves impact resistance as well as increases tensile strength and elasticity to prevent tool breakage and snapping.
